"American Idol" is the American version of "La nouvelle star" in France.
Many people who go to the casting have a real potential to become a singer.
Others think they have it but they don't!!!
James Lewis is one of them.
Despite his imposing size,he appears to be very sensitive. He is really touching.
From the beginning, we already notice that music and singing are very important for him. The problem is that nobody told him whether he was a good singer or not before.
Even if the jury laughs at his performance,he doesn't give up and he decides to try again his luck next year.
Take heart! It's when you work hard and you persevere that you finally achieve your goal.

Most hilarious, yes it is!!
I love this kind of tv show and particulary pop idol. Why ? this video explain why : i don't understand how people like him, don't know there are bad singer! a lot of them participate in this show because they think there are good singers but it is not the case... Why his friends don't prevent him to participate in this show. But it's a really funny time!
